Rajiv Dhar 's views ..
"There has been a quantum improvement in packaging technology in India in the past few years. However, this improvement has been limited to the higher end of the market while the products in the rural markets still carry sub standard packaging. We have laid out BIS codes for many food products and standards for other products are on the way. Government Legislation will only do its bit. What is really required is for the industry to focus on R & D to develop products appropriate for the conditions in our country rather than blindly following the west."
"Internet is a useful medium to disseminate information. It is also a useful tool for communication. However, I really don`t see any big time trading taking place on the net for some time atleast in our country.

"I am an Eco-friendly person and I strongly believe that we should be conscious not to spoil our environment. I am doing my bit to build up opinion for banning of volatile/ toxic solvents. We should stop using ethanol in our printing inks which is banned almost all over the world."
