"With the mushrooming of TV channels the viwership for none of them is going to be large enough to justify the ad spend on this medium. The `value for money` option for an advertiser will increasingly be outdoors. The coming days are likely to see a big shift to outdoor advertising. Unfortunately, the industry is too unorganised to make the best of this opportunity. In this context, organisations like Media Research Users Council (MRUC) are likely to play a larger role in resolving the problems of the industry and helping it organise itself."
"The Internet has not made any big impact till now. However, its potential to manage and market the hoardings spread over the country, is obvious. Maybe, in the coming years, we will witness its impact on our industry.
