Terms and conditions:
1) Tender forms can be obtained from this office on all working days against the payment of Rs.500/- in person and Rs.550/- for sending through courier/ by post, by paying cash/ DD in the name of the General Manager, Erode District Co-operative Milk Producers Union Ltd. Erode 638 316
2) Money Orders/ cheques will not be accepted.
3) Separate tender form should be used for each material.
4) EMD amount for Rs.5,000/- has to be paid along with each tender form. The EMD may be paid by cash/ DD in the name of the General Manager, Erode District Co-operative Milk Producers Union Ltd. Erode 638 316. The offers without EMD will be summarily rejected.
5) SSI units (within Tamil Nadu State) NSIC unit (other state)/ state Govt. and Public Sector undertakings and Cooperative Institutions are exemption from payment of EMD/ Security Deposit and issue of Tender form at free of cost for the participation of tender for specific item of materials for which Certificate obtained. For claiming the exemption, the Xerox copy of GO – SSI/NSIC Certificate should be attested by the Gazetted Officer and the same must be enclosed with the requisition of the tender form and technical bid without fall.
6) The specification and other details can be seen in the tender schedule. Food grade Certificate for Food contact packing materials from CFTR/ IIP including Pet Jars should be submitted during negotiation.
Last date for the sale of tender document by post : 26.05.06 upto 4.00 p.m.
Last date for the sale of tender document by person: 01.06.06 upto 4.00 p.m.
Last date and time for receipt of sealed tender document: 02.06.06 upto 11.00 p.m.
Time and date of opening of tender document (Technical bid only) : 02.06.06 at 11.30 p.m.
7) The date and time for opening of commercial bids will be intimated later to the technically qualified firm only. The same will be opened in the presence of the tenderers or authorized representative present at that time.
8) The tenders submitted beyond the due date and time fixed for submission shall be summarily rejected. In the event of the last date for submission/ opening falling on holidays, the acceptance/ opening of the tenders will be on the next working day at the same time.
9) The Union shall not be responsible for the delay (or) loss of documents in postal/ courier transit.
10) The General Manager reserves the right to accept or reject/ postpone/ split/ cancel the tender without assigning any reasons thereof.
