The Municipal Corporation of Delhi invites expression of interest
from manufacturers of bio-degradable plastic bags
MCD invites Expression of Interest
The Municipal Corporation of Delhi is promoting segregation of garbage and also the storage of garbage in green and blue coloured plastic bags, to promote the segregation of bio-degradable and re-cyclable garbage. The MCD wishes to promote the use of bio-degradable plastic bags amongst the citizens of Delhi. The number of such plastic bags required would be very much because the population of Delhi is approximately 13 million. In order to promote the use of bio-degradable plastic bags, the MCD would like to invite companies, who have the capability to manufacture the bio-degradable plastic bags for home disposal of garbage to submit their Expression of Interest. The Expression of Interest should be submitted within 15 days of the publication of this Advertisement giving the following details:
1. Name of the Company.
2. Name of the Promoters of the Company.
3. Date since the production of plastic bags has been done by the Company.
4. Whether the Company has supplied bio-degradable plastic bags to other Municipalities in India. If so, in which State(s).
5. Location of the factory, where the product is manufactured.
6. Any technical certification from approved Laboratory, that has been issued for the manufacture of bio-degradable plastic bags.
7. Technical specifications of the material.
8. A sample of the product, if readily available.
9. The total capacity for the manufacture of plastic bags in the existing premises.
