The Chairman and Managing Director, Tamil Nadu Civil Supplies Corporation Ltd. Chennai invites sealed tenders from the A and B Group. B Twill Jute Gunny manufacturers in the prescribed form for Purchase of 10 million numbers of 50 kg capacity (94 cm x 57 cm x 665 gms) B Twill New bale Gunny Bag to be delivered at Tamil Nadu Civil Supplies Corporation Ltd. Godowns/ MRMs available at Thanjavur, Thiruvarut, Cuddalore, Trichy, Pudukkottai and Nagapattinam District in Tamil Nadu for the purpose of packing paddy in the procurement operations.
1) Tender documents can be obtained on written requisition addressed to the Chairman and Managing Director, Tamil Nadu Civil Supplies Corporation Ltd., Head office, Chennai – 10 on payment of cost as prescribed.
2) Tendered Quantity: 10 million numbers of 50 kg capacity (94 cm x 57 cm x 665 gms) B Twill New bale Gunny Bag
3) Period of supply: (1) March 2007 (2 million) (2) April 2007 (5 million) (3) May 2007 (3 million)
4) Last date for sale of tender document: On all working days upto 11.00 a.m. on 05.03.07
5) Cost of tender document: Rs.1040/- (by direct) Rs.1140/- (by post/ courier) TNCSC Ltd. is not at all responsible for delay if any in respect of tender document through post/ courier.
6) Last date for receipt of sealed tender document: 05.03.07 upto 11.30 a.m.
7) Date of opening of sealed tender document: 05.03.07 at 12.00 noon
8) EMD to be remitted alongwith with tender document: Rs.20,00,000/- by DD drawn in favour of TNSCS Ltd. Chennai – 10 obtained from any nationalized Bank / Scheduled Bank payable at Chennai.
Note: If the date fixed for opening of tender happens to be a holiday for any reasons, the tender will be received upto 11.30 a.m. on the next working day and will be opened at 12.00 noon on the same day.
