Global notice inviting bids for supply, Erection and Commissioning of Air Compressors
Tamil Nadu Newsprint and Papers Limited (TNPL owns and operates India`s largest bagasse based integrated pulp and paper mill at Kagithapuram in the State of Tamil Nadu, India TNPL has embarked upon a Mill Development Plan, to achieve a more environmentally, friendly operational performance of the mill, and simultaneously accomplish the objective of modernisation of the process technology.
TNPL invites sealed Bids for Design supply, start-up and commissioning and fulfilment of performance guarantees of two new air compressors including all auxiliaries and spares. Generation capacity of each air compressor shall be 4500 Nm3/h of FAD and the air compressors shall be of centrifugal type.
The Bidder shall be a reputed manufacturer air compressors (centrifugal) and having supplied atleast six air compressors of similar capacity in the pass two years.
Interested Bidders may purchase a complete set of Bid Document against submission of a written application to TNPL and upon payment of a non-refundable fee o US Dollars 125 or Indian Rupees 5,000 by way of Bankers`s Cheque/ Demand Draft in favour of Tamil Nadu Newsprint and Papers Limited, payable at Karur, from the following address Project Management Division Tamil Nadu Newsprint and Papers Limited Kagithapuram - 639 136. Alternatively, the bidders can request for the Bid Document through e-mail from the links available in TNPL`s website and the fee can be remitted while submitting the bids.
A single stage two-envelope (Technical Bid and Price Bid envelopes) bidding procedure will be followed All Bids must be delivered to the off ice of TNPL not later than 14 00 hours on 30th December 2005. Technical Bids will be opened at 1500 hours on the same day in the presence of the Bidders representatives who choose to attend.
TNPL reserves the right to qualify the bids received and/or reject any or all the bids without assigning any reasons therefore.
