Global Tender Notice Inviting Pre-Qualification Bids

01. Pre qualification bids are invited by the General Manager, Security Printing Press, Hyderabad - 500 004. Andhra Pradesh, India for manufacture and sappy of the following material

02. The tender document will be issued only to such firm which are qualified in the pre-qualification bid process.

Description of the material: Wood free white coated un-water marked postage stamp paper coated with PVA type transparent gum in reel form of 500mm width and 6000 mtrs. Length.
Quantity required: 25 MT (+/- 5%)
Due date for submission of pre-qualification bids: Upto 2.00 pm (IST) on 16.02.07

03. Eligibility criteria of prequalification bids:

a) The present installed capacity and part supply of the above coated paper/ similar paper by the principal manufacturer during any of the preceding 5 years should be at least 25 MT per annum. Documentary proof for the same shall be furnished.

b) In order to ascertain that the firm has not suffered any financial loss, the financial results and the annual reports of the firm for the last five years should be furnished.

c) To indicate the capacity of the firm: Tonnes per day

d) Financial statements for the last five years

04. The offers should be submitted by the Manufacturing Companies (indigenous/ Foreign). However, the Authorized Indian Agent may also submit the offer on behalf of their principals subject to the following conditions:

a) (i)The Indian agent should submit a letter of authority in original issued by their principals authorizing the agent to participate in the subject tender.

(ii) Either the Indian Agent on behalf of the foreign principal OR the said foreign principal can directly participate in the subject tender but both cannot participate in the subject tender.

(iii) In case the authorized Indian agent participates in the tender on behalf of another manufacturer, the said Indian agent shall not be allowed to quote on behalf of another manufacturer in the subject tender.

b) In case of foreign firms they should have their Authorised representatives in India for reference.

05. The firm should not have been blacklisted/ debarred for dealing by Government of India in any manner and an undertaking should be submitted alongwith the P.Q. Bid, to this effect.

06. If necessary additional information will be sought and / or a team of officers of this organisation may visit the firm as part of assessing the P.Q. Bids.

07. The qualified companies who are in receipt of the tender documents need to submit the EMD specified in the tender document.

08. The Security Printing Press, Hyderabad will not be held responsible for postal delays, if any.

09. The tenderer shall forward the bid alongwith a Crossed Demand draft for Rs.500 (or equivalent foreign currency) towards processing fee and Tender document. The Demand Draft shall be drawn in favour of General Manager, Security Printing Press, A Unit of SPMCIL, Hyderabad.

10. The General Manager Security Printing Press, Hyderabad reserves the right to accept or reject any offer without assigning any reasons thereof on the grounds of National Security.
