Printing and Stationery Department, Haryana invites tenders
for printing/ supply of NCERT text books
Sealed Tenders are hereby invited for printing/supply of NCERT Text Books for Class 6th, 7th & 8th from Printers/Publishers/Suppliers. These tenders would be accepted upto 3:00 PM on 7-4-2005 in the office of undersigned and would be opened on the same day at 3:00 PM. Those tenderers who wish to be present at the time of opening may reach accordingly. Those participants may offer either or both separate offers for (i) supply of printed books (ii) printing of NCERT text books. The offer these two options consists of the following
(i) Supply of Printed Books- It would involve supply of printed books as per the NCERT specifications on the basis of specific discount on the sale of books in the state and the licence fee to be paid to the State Govt. for selling the books in open market in Haryana. In this case the supplier would sell the books on aforesaid discount in the State of Haryana after the payment of prescribed licence-fee.
(ii) Printing of Books- It would consist of the printing of the aforesaid text books for the Haryana Govt. on specific rates as per the terms and conditions of the tender.
The tenders who want to participate against both the aforesaid options may do so on the basis of single earnest money of Rs. 5 Lac (Rs. Five Lac) which is prescribed for either of the two tenders. The total approximate number of books would be 59.6 lac.
The detailed terms and conditions/the tender documents may be obtained from assistant controller (Publication Branch), Printing & Stationery Department, Haryana, SCO No.32, 2nd Floor, Sector-7C, Madhya Marg, Chandigarh on payment of Rs 250/- by hand and Rs. 300/- by post.
