supply, install and maintain approved models of Electronics Franking Machines

Tender Notice No. 2-7/2002/Tech
1. Sealed Tenders are invited on behalf of the President of India from eligible bidders who have been in the business of EFM for atleast 3 years and whose turnover is atleast Rs.50 million per annum for providing Electronics Franking Machines on compensation basis.
2. The tender is to supply, install and maintain approved models of Electronics Franking Machines at designated Post/ business/ Mail offices in the country. Proposal is to install around 2500-3000 suitable models of approved Electronic Franking Machines in Post/ Business post/ Mail offices across the country. All capital and running cost for supply, installation and maintenance of Electronic Franking Machines would be borne by the successful bidder.
3. Intending tenderers may, on written request, obtain a copy of Tender Notice Document (non-transferable) from Asstt. Directcr (Tech), Room No, 348A, Dak Bhawan, Sansad Marg, New Delhi – 110 001. Tel.: 91-11-3036825 on any working day between 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on production of ACG-67 Receipt in token of having paid Rs.1000/- (non-refundable) as the tender document fee deposited at any Post Office in India. The last date of Purchase of tender document is 25.11.2002, 3.00 p.m. and last date for submission of tender document is 29.11.2002 by1430 Hrs.
4. An Earnest Money Deposit of Rs.1,00,000/- shall be payable while submitting the tender document.
5. The Department of Posts reserves the right to accept or reject a or any of the tenders without assigning any reason.
