Notice inviting tenders for printing of text books (with cover) for Academic Year 2008-09

1. The Managing Director, MR Text Book Corporation invites sealed tenders from the Offset Printers for printing of approximately Fifty million Text Books (single colour/ multi colour text with multi colour covers) for the Academic Year 2008-09. The tender document may be obtained from the office of the Managing Director, M.P. Text Book Corporation, Pustak Bhawan, Arera Hills, Bhopal, on any working day upto 17.00 hours of 08.01.2008, on payment of cost of tender document (non-refundable) Rs.200/-. The cost of Tender document may be paid in cash or by way of 4 demand draft issued by a Scheduled Bank in favour of Managing Director, M.P. Text Book Corporation, payable at Bhopal, M.P. The tender document can also be had by downloading from the website of the Corporation (www.mptbc.nic.in). In such case the cost of tender document shall be paid by Demand Draft of any Scheduled Bank, in favour of Managing Direction, M.P. Text Book Corporation, payable at Bhopal and has to be submitted along with the technical bid, failing which tender shall be rejected.
2) Bids complete in all respect, in two sealed covers i.e. (i) Technical Bid in cover A and (ii) Commercial Bid in cover B must be received by post or dropped in the tender box in the Head Office of M.P. Textbook Corporation situated Arera Hills, Bhopal latest by 13.30 hours of 09.01 .2008.
3) The Technical Bids of all the tenders received within the prescribed time limit, will be opened in the Head Office of M.P. Text Book Corporation, Arera Hills, Bhopal at 14.00 hours of 09.01.2008.
4) The Commercial Bid of those bidders, whose technical d is qualified under the terms and conditions of tender document will be opened in the Head Office of M.P. Text Book Corporation situated at Arera Hills, Bhopal on 11.30 hrs on 15.01.2008.
5) Rights are reserved for rejecting any or all the tenders without assigning any reason.
