Sealed Tenders in two parts (Part-I: Techno-commercial Bid and Part-Il: Price Bid) in separate sealed covers are invited by the General Manager, India Government Mint, Shahid Bhagat Singh Road, Fort, Mumbai on behalf of the Chairman and Managing Director, Security Printing & Minting Corporation of India Limited, for the supply of FOUR (4) Fully Automatic Integrated Sachet Packaging Line with following Description:
Description: Fully automatic integrated sachet packaging line (i) One line of 6000 coins packaging capacity per minute for noida mint and (ii) 3 lines, one each of 5000 coins per minute for Kolkata, Hyderabad and Mumbai mint
Quantity to accept tender: 4 Lines
EMD amount completion of supply: Rs.10,00,000/–
Time for: 52 weeks
Earnest Money Deposit in the form of account payee Demand Draft/ Bankers Cheque / Fixed Deposit Receipt/ Bank Guarantee in favour of the ``India Government Mint (unit of SPMCIL) Collection A/c.`` is to be furnished along-with Technical Bid from any Schedule Commercial Bank or from a First Class reputed International bank duly verified and confirmed by State Bank of India Branch, in acceptable form. Sales Tax Registration Number, PAN, TAN etc. are also required to be furnished.
Offers received from any bidder shall be summarily rejected on National Security considerations without any intimation to the bidder.
Date of Issue of Tender Document: 15/03/2008 to 18/04/2008 up to 1300 hours.
Last date of submission of Tender : 24/04/2008 up to 1000 hrs
Tender opening date and time: (i) Tech-commercial bid opening 24/04/2008 at 1100 hrs and (ii) Price bid opening on 25/04/2008 at 1600 hrs.
The General Manager, India Govt. Mint, Mumbai has the right to reject any or all tenders wholly or in part without assigning any reason thereof .Tenders received late and not in prescribed forms will be summarily rejected. Postal delay will not be condoned.
Tender documents can be obtained from the Cashier, India Government Mint, Mumbai on payment of Rs.5625/- or equal amount for USD 140/- for the cost of the tender document, Sales Tax and Surcharge in the form of Demand Draft drawn in favour of ``India Government Mint, (unit of SPMCIL) Collection A/c.`` on any Schedule Commercial Bank in India. No money order will be accepted. Tender downloaded from the websites should accompany the demand draft for amount mentioned herein with the Techno Commercial Bid, unless it is attached with tender, it shall be liable for rejection.
