SP Ultraflex launches the all new Roboslit.
To complement the increasing popularity and patronage of its regular version of slitting rewinding machines - the DSR RL, DSR FL and the Ultraslit OHP, SP Ultraflex Systems (P) Ltd. has launched the all new Roboslit.
The Roboslit is the first slitter rewinder of its kind with productivity enhancing features including dual turret rewinds, automatic rewind splicing, robotic rewind core positioning, finished reels ejector, rewind changeover within 30 seconds, robotic cutter positioning and linear rider rolls section.
Depending on the job profile, around 55-75 percent of the total man- machine time on conventional secondary slitting rewinding machines is used in 'make ready' and changeover of rewind, unwind and tooling sections. By means of the innovative set of features introduced in the Roboslit, this has been reduced to about 15 percent. Roboslit, at the same time, also manages to improve the quality of finished reels and deskill the single operator required, by introducing a rhythm in the production cycle through the use of robotics and state of the art process automation. The Roboslit, thus, gives output equivalent to 2-3 conventional machines, depending on the job profile of the user.
