Uflex Ltd. (Engineering Division)
has launched high speed continuous motion collar type form fill and seal machine
to pack powder, granuals and eatables in center seal pouches made up of heat
sealable laminate. The machine can run up to 150 pouches per minute .
The company is continuously working on the innovation of various printing and
allied machines and has developed high speed digital duplex rewinding and slitting
machine to rewind and slit the printed and non-printed flexible laminates. These
machine models will be showcased at IPS 2008.
The company has also developed a fully automatic 10 track form fill and seal
machine, model MT 1000 to pack various liquids and pastes (like shampoo, ketchup,
oil, cream etc.), granules (like tea, pan masala etc.), powders (like coffee,
milk powder etc.) in four side seal pouches made up of heat sealable laminates.
It is a continuous motion machine having an A/C driven film unwinding unit,
a web control system (which maintains the tension, constant feed and a web alignment
of the film) and a servo driven film pulling system, filling system, a sealing
drive system and a unit up- down system to ensure higher accuracy and speed.
The machine is capable of producing pouches in batches (max. up to 99) with
optional attachments like embossing coding, notching, die cut punching and collating
system.
