The India Packaging Show, which made a humble beginning in 2006, today together with seven other niche shows has come up many a notches. With 351 exhibitors across 6000 m2 of net exhibition area, it's a delight to see BeePasha - the mascot that represents the converting industry march along with the 'Sold Out' flag. “We have promised a 'Total Packaging Experience' to the visitors of our exhibition this year. With more than 450 represented companies and focus on new products, innovation and automation, we hope to deliver just that,” says Anil Arora, President, Print Packaging.Com (P) Ltd.

There is a lot of value addition for the visitors this year. The Converting School to be held in association with Association of Industrial Metallizers, Coaters and Laminators (AIMCAL) from 6-7 August, 2008 at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi promises the attendees the most, from the best for the least. “Dr David Roisum is an industry expert and is recognised the world over. In order to extend the reach of the course and add to the level of accessibility, we have rounded the registration fees down to Rs 12,000, which is one third of the fee paid by the delegates in USA,” says Neetu Arora on behalf of the organisers.

Always a regular feature alongside the main exhibition, the PackAge conference addresses core issues concerning all industry segments. This season the two-day conference with its theme 'Improving Efficiencies with Technology and Innovation' has been divided industry wise, guarantying all attendees across different segments maximum utility. “The conference is segmented in a way that individual sessions deals with packaging (with special focus on food, pharma and retail), converting and the corrugated packaging industry independently. This gives a clear focus to each, making it easier for delegates to make most of their visit to the event,” said D Deb, Consultant to the Industry and Co-ordinator for the PackAge conference.

Running equipment and product launches form the core of any successful exhibition. The 'Total Packaging Event' promises the biggest gamut of live demos, product launches and displays ever seen in any packaging event in the country. In the following pages of the final newsletter leading up to the main event, look out for a complete low down on all product launches and running equipment at the exhibition.
