The Label Manufacturers` Association gathers steam
many more join in at the second meeting
The Label Manufactures Association of India (proposed) had its second meeting at Mumbai hosted by Mudrika Labels. Over thirty label manufacturers representing fourteen leading companies from Mumbai attended the meeting. The objects of the proposed association were finalised. A discussion was taken to start a membership drive. The term 'label manufacturer' was defined to include manufacturers of various types of labels including among others Holograms, Tickets, Tags and Coupons. A review of the progress in completing the formalities for formation of the association was made and a discussion was taken to hold the first executive committee meeting in November 2001.
The meeting reaffirmed the support of the proposed association to the forthcoming India Label Show 2002 being organised by Label Expositions (P) Ltd.
