The Environmentally Friendly Way to Process Printing Plates
The latest offerings from Toyobo are now available from Vaishnavi Graphics.
TOYOBO is the pioneer of Printight, a water-wash letterpress plate and the world's first water washable flexo plate- Cosmolight.
TOYOBO's superior photopolymer technology produces a water-washable plate, which is also durable to water-based ink, as well as solvent based and UV-inks. This revolutionary plate eliminates the need to use toxic, environmentally damaging washout solvents, and allows processing by ``Water``, one of our most abundant natural resources.
Now, TOYOBO has introduced the new KFMC and EFMC plates. These plates can produce 1% dots and upto 175 lines screen with lesser time for plate making and washing as well as less wear out of exposing tubes. These plates, used for letterpress and dry offset have a property of halftone from 1-95% and 175 LPI and minimum isolated dots holding of 100 uM dia.
``There are no other plates of comparable quality as these plates give better balance and combination in printing of solid, shadow and middle tones and infinitely better ink transfer. They also give the best text letters with deeper printing and sharpness,`` says Rohit Sachdev of Vaishnavi Graphics, the sole agents of Toyobo plates in India.
These plates are now sold in India and most of the customers of Vaishnavi Graphics have migrated to these plates.
