CN 250 sees Increasing demand.
Delhi based Prakash Labels Pvt Ltd. has recently purchased its second CN 250. It purchased the first one four years ago. On being asked why it chose the same machine again, Dinesh Mahajan, MD, says, ‘‘Our main concern while purchasing the machine was its ability to deliver quality and run consistently for a longer time. We were happy with the performance of our first machine and we find this product to be definitely value for money.
We are facing greater production load on account of expanded sales as we are growing at approx. 25% p.a. We mainly serve the automobile, general engineering, toy and retail industry and find that with Orthotec, we can serve our customers well.’’

We are going in 8 colour UV and have bought Orthotec for hot foil stamping offline and die punching offline in the smaller job runs required specifically by our clients. We are happy with the machines’ performance.
We have been in this business for 25 years and have seven machines. Under an EPGC scheme, we are also catering to the pharma industry in Sri Lanka on account of its proximity to Chennai.’’
The fully loaded 4 colour press with lamination, unwinding, die-cut, hot-stamp, waste stripping and UV dryer is capable of making all kind of labels, and tags including product labels.
The Orthotec products are sold and serviced in India by Label Planet. Says Amit Sheth of Label Planet, “This a standardised machine available to the market that can do the maximum number of jobs for small and medium runs. That is why this machine is so popular in India.”

Kavita Labels takes on a new Focus
Speaking to Print-packaging.com on placing an order for Focus L4+1, Pradeep Ajmani, MD, of Kavita Labels (India) Pvt Ltd., Gurgaon (KLIPL), said, ‘‘We have not started commercial production on the machine as yet. We are under taking sampling procedures to check performance and we are highly satisfied. We are waiting for approvals from the companies we service such as H&M, J C Penny, K-Mart and GAP, and we expect the machine to become fully functional soon.’
