Instron India Pvt. Ltd. will be displaying the universal testing machine at the India Automation Show this year. The universal testing machine model no. 3342 is a part of the 3340 series. The 3340 series single column systems are ideal for tension and compression applications where tests are less than 5 kN (1,100 lbf), lab space is limited and where free access to the test area is desirable.
The 3340 series single column testing systems provide simplicity, performance and affordability for quality control and product testing. Features of the series include 100:1 force range (i.e. use of the load cell to 1.0 percent of capacity with no loss of accuracy) and load accuracy of 0.5 percent of indicated load. The equipment has 100 HZ data acquisition rate, full software control (cyclic capability optional), optional touch panel control, automatic transducer recognition and thousands of optional grips and fixtures. It also gives optional temperature chambers, choice of four colors and full CE compliance. The 3342 model comes with 0.5 kN (112 lbf) capacity, 651 mm (25.6 inch) vertical test space, reduced overall height for compact size and low weight and the starter testing package.
