automation concepts with standardised communication solutions for packaging
machines and packaging lines at IPS 2008. The key for high flexibility in a
packaging plant starts with a high level motion controller.
The dynamic performance servo drive technology coupled with data-driven synchronization
via a field bus or network for complete software controlled movement, modular
construction of the solution by the company permits easy expansion or re-configuration
of lines. Siemens is in the fore front to offer the complete automation solution
consisting of Simotion, a motion controller along with new series of 'Sinamics'
drive system, motors, 'Profibus' or 'Profinet' bus system for all kinds of packaging
machine applications and performance requirements.
