Sakata Inx India Ltd announces its Offset Printing Project
Makes in roads in to the brochures, calendars, newspaper web-offset ink market


Sakata Inx (India) Ltd. a premium supplier of inks to the print and packaging industry announced the launch of their offset printing project last week. With growing emphasis on quality of printing and packaging standards and to keep pace with the dynamics of the industry, Sakata Inx India Ltd. is now setting up a state of the art capital intensive unit next to their plant at Bhiwadi in Rajasthan. An additional 1.5 acres of land has been acquired for the project. The unit would be ready for production in June 2005. Announcing the venture, V. K. Seth, Managing Director, Sakata Inx (India) Ltd said, ``Sakata Inx India is now readying to enter the Indian sheet-fed offset, ink for brochures, calendars and newspaper web-offset ink market which is estimated at 25,000 tonne each. This project will employ state-of-the-art technology and would be able to meet the challenges of the printing and packaging industry by bringing in eco-friendly, cost-effective and Quality inks in India.''

Seth futher stressed that the transfer of technology from the parent company would fortify the commitment and belief of Sakata Inx Corporation, Japan in the Indian market and Sakata Inx India. ``Sakata Inx Japan is putting in the additional equity to fund its second round of expansion in India by launching the offset printing inks project,''he added.

The offset products being launched are the Ecopure Soy HP range of inks which are one of the most popular inks globally.

The plant is spread across 5.5 acres and produces 15-20 tons of inks and ancillary products per day.
