Rolling Out The Carpets For PackPlus 2010
The event is scheduled from Dec 3 - 6, 2010 at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi
PackPlus- the newest avatar of the Largest Packaging, Processing and Supply Chain Event held last month at Pragati Maida, New Delhi was declared a big hit, paving way for bigger things at PackPlus 2010. Like its predecessor the latest edition too will bring together 10 niches shows under four distinct `Zones`. Spread over 20,000 sq m exhibition area, the fastest evolving packaging exhibition in the country is scheduled from Dec 3-6, 2010 at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.
“The show aims to bring together the worldwide manufacturers and providers of machinery, materials and services for food, pharma and packaging industry from India and neighbouring countries. If you are in one of the following fields, you should participate in the event,” says Anil Arora, President, Print-Packaging.Com Pvt. Ltd, organizers of the Show.
The Packaging Zone will showcase the India Packaging Show. It will have exhibitors displaying packaging machines and equipment like coding and on-line printing machines, foiling, capsuling, feeding and labelling machines, packaging containers, packaging materials, closing and sealing materials, label and package converters, package designers and consultants and testing materials and software.
Featured in the Converting Zone will be India Converting Show, India Flexo Show and India Corrugated Show. The zone will have exhibitors displaying package printing, converting and finishing equipment as well as corrugated box making machinery together with materials and services used by the package converters and corrugated box makers.
India Automation Show, Food Technology Show and Pharma Technology Show will come under the Processing Zone. The exhibiting segments will include technology, equipment, materials and solutions for production and processing of food and pharmaceuticals. Automation for industry, factory & processes, motion drives and robotics that has applications across industries with special focus on packaging and processing of food and pharma will be the segments on display in the Automation show.
India AIDC Show, India Logistics Show and India Retail Show will form Supply Chain Zone. Integrators and providers of bar code, RFID and card technologies, shopfit & design, Retail technology, signage, Integrators of supply chain systems, cold chain, ware housing systems, material handling and weighing, software and services will exhibit in this zone.
Running concurrently with main event will be the annually held PackAge Conference. “With 354 exhibitors and 10342 footfalls recorded over the four days, PackPlus 2009 got its numbers right. The event is poised to go up a few notches in its next edition and we have already started working on that,” said Neetu Arora on behalf of the organizers.
