Processing, portioning and packaging equipment supplier Reiser has formed an agreement with Repak, the horizontal form, fill and seal packaging machine manufacturer to act as its UK sales agent.
Massachusetts-based Reiser has represented Repak in the US and Canada since 2003.
Repak manufactures machines that can produce flexible, semi-rigid, vacuum, modified-atmosphere and vacuum skin packages for the meat, poultry, seafood, cheese and prepared food industries.
Reiser UK managing director Peter Mellon said Repak 'completes our portfolio' and enables the company to 'offer any type of machinery for food processing'.
Mellon added that it also facilitates the putting together of 'customised processing and packaging lines' to make Reiser UK a 'one-stop-shop' for food processing and packaging machinery.
