Metal Closures and Containers is an associate company of Regal Creative Products (P) Ltd. headed by K K Bajaj. Regal had acquired a Orthotec CNC 3022 last year. It is the other firm that has now acquired a CN 2850. The pioneer in decorative metal printing is going aggressively into pressure sensitive label segment and has found a ready market in its old clients who also need labels. Bajaj is serving clients in the pharma and cosmetics industry. He also supplies labels to mosquito repellent manufacturers. “The new acquisition is to cater to small runs that we find impractical to print on the CNC 3022,” says Bajaj.
The Orthotec CN 2850 Dl + DL is a 4 colour oblique type press that has an exclusive feature of twisting adjustment of die-cut with pressure setting, synchorised computer spocket puncher, solid inking system and separate adjustment for bottom laminate roller. It has lamination, Varnishing, sheeter, rewinder with repass scanner and a UV dryer.
Bajaj is very optimistic about the growth in label printing business and is hoping to purchase another Orthotec 3022 “very soon.”
