Pune to host a Printing event in October 2001
Press Owners` Association organise Print Pack Plast 2001
The Poona Press Owners' Association Ltd. [Estd. 1919] in association with Tashika Expovision have announced an Exhibition to be held in Nehru Stadium Complex, Pune from 4th to 7th October 2001. The exhibition aims to bring together participants engaged in the manufacturing of Printing, Packaging and Plastic Equipment and allied products as well as traders, agents and Project Developers.
``Pune has not had a major Printing event for more than a decade,`` says Meera Mathews of Tashika Expovision. ``During this period Pune has become the Silicon Valley of Maharashtra. Since, in today`s age of convergence- IT, Printing and Packaging go hand in hand, there is a tremendous potential of growth of these industries in this area.`` Meera hopes to kindle a interest in new as well as established entrepreneurs to visit the exhibition.
The organisers are working on several seminars to be held in conjunction with the exhibition and hope to announce the details soon.
