In a bid to become a global player, Parksons Packaging India's leading board folding carton manufacturer has struck up a strategic alliance with CD Cartondruk AG of Germany (annual sales - Euros 65 million). The latter has manufacturing plants in Germany, Poland and the USA and has a global reputation for top-end quality.
Parksons have a large plant located at Daman and will be inaugurating a brand new green-field facility at Pune during April 2007.
As Mr. Ramesh Kejriwal, Managing Director of Parksons put it, “The alliance with Cartondruk is an important step towards our goal of being a global leader in the folding carton industry.”
