Packolabel Ties Up With Fidia
Will set up print finish shops in New Delhi and Mumbai
Packolabel has entered into a Joint venture with Fidia Macchine Grafiche of Italy for marketing its range of folding and gluing machinery in India and the neighbouring countries. In a unique and bold initiative- Packolabel Systems will set up print finish shops in New Delhi and Mumbai where it will be installing COMBI-UNICA Folding and gluing machines. ‘’At the print shops, prospective customers will be able to see them in action and see for themselves the special features and capabilities of these wonderful machines,’’ says Neelkant Bakshi, Managing Director of Packolabel.
The converters can get their die-punched printed sheets to these shops and get finished envelopes, CD Wallets, flexible book covers, presentation folders and other special jobs in shortest possible times. COMBI-UNICA Folding and gluing machine are especially suited for 2-D buckle plate folds or in-line items. This machine is ideal for a wide range of folding and gluing. Quality and speed of set up and production are assured by several key factors.
COMBI composes the primary element of the modular system and it is made up of a rising pile feeder followed by plough folding belt and ‘tipper plate’. UNICA is fitted after the COMBI on tracks and consists of double vacuum register belts, glue gun positions (cold and hot) and a buckle plate folding head with five plate positions. This configuration assures the production of folded and glued items in paper and board: simple folders, presentation folders, 3 flap folders, folders with gussets, presentation folders with document pockets, air ticket wallets, covers for music records, special size envelopes, courier envelopes with double sided tape & tear tape strip, CD/DVD wallets with one or two pockets, CD/DVD and DI.GI. PACK wallets from 1 to 4 reinforced panels, floppy disk covers, paperback book covers with flaps and flexible book covers, photograph wallets with double flat pockets, with gussets and combi type, medical file envelopes, simple boxes, etc.
Fidia Macchine Grafiche, the manufacturer of COMBI-UNICA, has rapidly become a serious player in the Premier League of finishing equipment manufacturers.
