Mudrika Labels Upgrades Its Facilities
Bids for premium clientele
Mudrika Labels is a leading label printer from Mumbai that has a large clientele in Cosmetics, Pesticides and Pharma industries. It has been steadily expanding its operations and has recently acquired an Orthotec DL 3022 label-converting machine with flatbed die cutting, hot foil stamping, and inline slitter- rewinder. “The machine helps us add more decorative features to our labels and helps us cater to premium clients,” says Manish Desai, Director of the company.
Says Amit Sheth of Label Planet, the distributors for Orthotec products in India. “This machine complements long run machines very well. It is a converting machine that is needed after completing high-end jobs. It is a flat bed machine that does not need imported dyes but any flat bed dye can be used. This is important to the printer. It also contains a foil-stamping unit. Thus this machine is popular in India.”
Mudrika Labels has also purchased a Focus ‘Platemate’ that is an automatic video plate mounting machine. Says Amit Sheth about this machine, ‘‘Printers that are conscious of quality are going in for this machine. It cuts out the need to change plates manually. Errors are eliminated and mounting time is also cut down.’’
Mudrika has also invested in a Rotoflex VSI 3330 slitter- rewinder and detection system that has a provision for adding a video inspection unit later on. Rotoflex products are distributed by Flexo Image Graphics in India.
