AIMCAL Converting School
After a hiatus last year, the Association of Industrial Metallizers, Coaters and Laminators (AIMCAL) returns with Dr. David Roisum for a two-day workshop on Web Handling & Converting and Winding at PackPlus 2010.

AIMCAL Converting School scheduled from Dec 2-3 at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi will focus on practical, usable solutions to converting challenges for engineers, operators, technicians, technical managers and sales people involved in coating, laminating and metallizing. The courses will be conducted by Dr. Roisum of Finishing Technologies, Inc., Neenah, Wisconsin, who is moving his popular Web Handling and Converting and Winding courses under the AIMCAL Converting School umbrella. The course of Converting School will be structured in the form to benefit plant engineers, anyone working with web machinery in the paper, film, metal, non-woven, or textile industries including product/process designers, process engineers, quality assurance, sales/service, maintenance and lead operators.

Automation 4 Packaging Forum
Today, automation is moving beyond merely reducing cost and increasing productivity to broader issues, such as increasing quality and flexibility in the manufacturing process and improving supply chain efficiencies. Providing an interactive platform to the packaging users, machine manufacturers, converters and automation solution providers to exchange their knowledge on the subject, the first edition of Automation4Packaging forum was initiated by Print-Packaging.Com Pvt. Ltd. at PackPlus 2009.

With PackPlus 2010, the forum has turned out to be bigger and better bringing all stake holders together and understanding the latest innovations in Packaging Automation, Motion & Process Controls, Vision Systems, Human Machine Interface and Data Exchange Protocols. Presenting all this in the Indian context, the aim is to profitably adopt and integrate these in the existing processes.

Organised in partnership with Automation Industry Association (AIA), the one-day forum will run concurrently with the main event scheduled from 3-6 Dec 2010 at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.


China/Taiwan Pavilion
Adding international value to the Show, PackPlus 2010 will host special pavilions for China and Taiwan. Companies like Jin Gou Packaging Machinery Co. Ltd, Wenzhou Only International Trade Co. Ltd., Cipher Lab and Bitatek will present latest packaging and processing products from their countries on the Indian ground giving an opportunity to the Indian customers to explore global technology advancements.

CipherLab, one of the world leaders in AIDC solutions including scanning, mobile computing and business process design solutions from Taiwan, has booked a stall of 36 sq m to present one of its latest products -Windows® CE-based 9600 series industrial mobile computer. Jingou packing machine Co. Ltd., a professional carton / packaging machine manufacture enterprise from China will showcase its wide range of cutter, slitter, gluer, stitcher and printing machines at PackPlus 2010.
