Markem Imaje will launch the 8000 series thermal transfer over printer for flexible packaging at IPS. The printer meets extreme production line speed changes, has advanced ribbon features for printing efficiency, is adaptable for intermittent and continuous film applications and has a network control and image design software with CoLOS 'Create, Control and Enterprise' options. The 'SmartDate Series' includes speed flexibility ranges from 5 to 1,000 mm per second and industry leading 0.5 mm gap between prints for more efficient printing colour.
Touch screen user interface controller with WYSIWIG print preview and the compact size printer enables seamless integration into almost any packaging machine.
