Launch Of Packaging South Asia Magazine




Packaging South Asia, India's first international magazine on Packaging has been launched during Label Summit 2006 at New Delhi. It is a bimonthly with the inaugural issue being the January-February 2007 edition.

The magazine is very attractively printed and laid out and covers a wide spectrum of topics over the entire gamut of Packaging and associated technologies. It will cover materials ranging from paper & board, metals, plastics, glass and composites to fabrics and packaging systems ranging from unit retail packaging to secondary packaging and transport packaging. Regular columns that will feature in every issue include Markets & Trends, New Products & Processes, Industry News, RFID, Brand Security & Product Identification, Packaging Design, Environmental Issues, Economic Analyses, a Technical Section and Events.

The main geographical focus is going to be on South Asia although global trends and developments will also be tracked as will be associated topics like logistics and supply chain management.

The inaugural issue has been very well received and the quality of both content and presentation is extremely good and of true international standard.

The magazine is being published by Mr. Naresh Khanna, who also edits and publishes the well-known Indian Printer & Publisher, and its editor is Mr. S. Chidambar, who is a well-known industry consultant and packaging specialist.
