Wenglor presented InoxSens and ODX Sensors technology
For 25 years the name of Wenglor has stood for innovative products for contact free object recognition. The company showcased two of its new products at PackPlus 2009 – InoxSens Sensors and ODX Sensors.
The InoxSens range is an innovative sensor technology solution for the food and beverage, and the pharmaceuticals industry. The ingenious system solution fuses sensor and machine technology. It provides users with sensors which fulfill special requirements for industrial hygiene and cleaning in an ideal fashion. The time tested sensor functions are integrated into an extremely rugged housing made of top quality stainless steel. All InoxSens products are water-proof and fully resistant to chemicals. InoxSens Optical Sensors, as well as other components included in the InoxSens system such as Mounting Tubes and Brackets, supplement the InoxSens range.
“Through PackPlus, Wenglor has presented the world’s first optical sensor system with hygienic design, which assures better hygiene and smooth packaging process for the food, beverage and pharmaceutical sectors,” said Reena Chakravarty from the company.
Whether they’re used in master-slave systems or as stand-alone sensors , the new ODX range of Reflex Sensors with a new control panel and new functions for adapting fiber optic cables, are suitable for nearly any application. The displays at the innovative OLED indicator on the ODX402 light up yellow. Signal and threshold can be displayed as numeric values and as bar graphs, and the output status can be read at a glance as well. Quick diagnosis is thus assured. The contamination warning can also be read without losing any time. Users can navigate through the menu intuitively, and set up their Wenglor sensors in an individualized fashion.
