Vipa Automation India Pvt. Ltd. is introducing its high speed control systems in the process automation area at the India Automation Show. The company will be displaying VIPA speed 7 PLC (fastest PLC in the world), VIPA 300V PLC (compatible to Siemens S7300 PLC), VIPA industrial touch panels (windows CE based with built-in SCADA) and industrial diagnostic profibus connectors.
With the VIPA 'Speed7 technology', system 300S is the fastest control system in the world programmable with win PLC7 and step®7. Depending on the CPU type, the integrated work memory can be expanded to 8 MB with the VIPA memory extension card. All CPUs in the system 300S are equipped with an ethernet interface for PG/OP communication. A CP 343 interface for TCP/IP communication is integrated in the 'NET' CPUs. Because of its high performance and scalable memory, system 300S is especially suitable for mid to high range applications. The Speed7-CPU 314SC from VIPA GmbH is considered to be the fastest hard-SPS programmable system.
