IPP Installs Creo Trendsetter Quantum CtP
Successful plate production in the first month
International Print-O-Pack, New Delhi, recently installed a Creo Trendsetter Quantum CtP with the latest Square sport imaging laser head technology with top of the line Brisque Impose workflow system and an IRIS 43Wide proofing system.
The installation and training was completed in less than a week. IPP had estimated that they would do 10% of their plate production on CtP in the first month. Instead they overshot there target by almost 5 times and have touched a plate count of 2000 plates in just about 20 days of commercial production thus successfully transferring 50% of their production to CTP in the very first month.
``With CtP we have again managed to print 100,000 copies per day on our presses which they use to achieve when the presses were brand new. This was possible due to reduced make ready time and also we have been able to run our presses faster due to CtP thermal plates,`` said Amila Singhvi, MD, International Print-O-Pack while detailing the business advantages after installing the new CtP to industry news sources.
