Honeywell Scanning & Mobility (HSM) is a leading manufacturer of high- performance image- and laser- based data collection hardware, including rugged mobile computer and bar code scanners. HSM is the consolidation of 'Metrologic' and 'Hand Held Products' acquisitions made by Honeywell last year. At the upcoming PackPlus 2009 & AIDC Show, Honeywell will display a series of new products including:
Dolphin 6100 Mobile Computer: Honeywell's Dolphin 6100 is a stylish and durable mobile computer that provides advanced data collection and real-time wireless communication for in-premise applications including retail in-store; price lookup; inventory management; and light industrial and manufacturing. Designed with ergonomics in mind, this pocket-sized mobile computer features angled imager that allows users to view the screen while scanning a barcode.
MS 4980 VuQuest Fixed Area Imager: It is a compact yet powerful area-imaging scanner. The combination of aggressive presentation-mode scanning and advanced features allow high-quality scanning in places where space is at a premium. It's ideal for applications requiring maximum versatility and strong performance.
Besides, Honeywell will also be showing two new derivatives from its most popular Dolphin series mobile computer: Dolphin 7600 with GPS function and Dolphin 9950 with an integrated pistol-grip design.
