Hindustan Papers wins Capexil Award for outstanding Export Performance
ITC, Sinar Mas, Coates of India and Goyal Overseas among those honoured


Capexil (formerly Chemicals and Allied Export promotion Council) announced it's annual Capexil awards for 1999-2000. Among the companies that were honoured for their contribution to exports were Hindustan Papers, the largest manufacturers of Paper and Newsprint in South- East Asia.

Sinar Mas Pulp and Paper (India) Ltd., which has been exporting it's coated papers to various world markets including south east Asia was awarded a special export award. So did ITC Limited whose Packaging and Printing Division is one of the largest packaging houses in south Asia converting approximately 30,000 tonnes of Paper Board every year.

The Multinational Coates of India Ltd. is the market leader in Printing Inks and allied products in India. Though a late entrant in the export market, it has made a significant penetration in the neighboring and also the Far Eastern and African Markets. The Special Export Award that it receives this year has been preceded by Certificates of Merit awards in the last three consecutive years.

Goyal Overseas is a hundred percent Export oriented Unit of Goyal Brothers Prakashan, a leading publisher of School text books. Their exports cater to the needs of Indian children studying abroad especially in the Arab countries like UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, Saudi Arabia and Bahrain.
