The latest digital pre-press department of Shreeraj Roto India Ltd. uses a specialised packaging and planning software to meet gravure printing requirements. ARTPRO from Belgium is being used for color separation, pantone, shades, trapping, bar code generation. Experienced and foreign trained professional work on colour calibrated monitors for optimum halftone result and exclusive software are used for making wall papers, woodgrain and texture design cylinders.
“We have state- of- the- art equipments inclusive of Apple Macintosh computers, IBM scanner and all transferable media drives. We also have two Degital Cromalin (printer) with independent RIP capable of giving true calibrated result similar to gravure inks and can print unto 17 X 80 inches seamless,” says Rajkumar, Chairman of the company. “Since the inputs from the customer are in various formats like artwork, bromide, transparency and digital shoots, we assure speedy and accurate execution of job,” he adds. Before sending file to engraver, a digital print (cromalin) is taken out. This is pre-calibrated with respect to gravure inks to make the result match with the electronically engraved printing cylinders.
