Flex Industries, India's leading fully integrated flexible packaging company has notched up several prestigious awards recently.
They have won the “Best Exporter Of The Year” award from the plastics Export Promotion Council in October 2006 for their performance in the export of BOPET (Polyester) and BOPP Films.
Flex also won the prestigious 19th DuPont Award for Excellence in Packaging Engineering in the Food & Beverage Category in Philadelphia, USA in August 2006. It had also won this award in the same category in 2005 as well. The winning entry for the 2006 award was for the development of a special pouch for ANKUR salt which was constructed from 5 different multilayer laminate input webs.
