FIG ties up with RotoMetrics
Towards becoming one point source for flexo.
RotoMetrics, the world-class manufacturer of rotary tools, has tied up with Flexo Image Graphics Pvt. Limited for servicing the Indian market. With the expanding Indian market attracting the world’s best, it was about time that RotoMetrics made moved in. Says Peter Petran, Sales Director, “While we have been doing business in India for some time through our Australian operations, we were always looking for a local partner to expand our operations. FIG fits the bill.”
Peter was in India to promote his products at the Label Summit that took place at Mumbai on 21-22 February 2005. Print-Packaging.com caught up with him along with Gourav Roy of FIG. Says Gourav, “We have been steadily expanding our range of products to meet our stated objective of becoming a one point source for the flexo printer. Our new relationship is one more step in meeting this objective.”
In terms of how the relationship will work, Gourav elaborates, “We expect to respond to any enquiry within 24 hours. We would be stocking some products like print cylinders and magnetic cylinders. For dies we would be able to execute the order depending on the product and the production schedules. We will be serviced by the company’s EU operations.’’
‘‘The internal set up that we would have is each office in Mumbai, Delhi and Chennai will have one Tooling Manager and a sales person. One administrative coordinator will do the compilation work. Our game plan is to be professionally satisfy our customer.’’
