FIG Keeps The Mark Andy Flag Afloat
LP 3000 debut in India and Sri Lanka
Flexo (India) Graphics Pvt. Limited (FIG) has announced two installations of Mark Andy LP3000 recently. The press that was first introduced in Labelexpo 2003 has won rave reviews and has established itself as a top-of-the-line press in the one and a half years, since. The list of advancements that have been integrated into the press reads like a “what's new” in flexographic printing- a quick load plate-loading technology that has pneumatic controls, A Quick Change (QC) ink carriage that allows meter rolls and doctor blades to be set outside of press, a constantly turning anilox roll allows ink pans, meter rolls, and anilox rolls that can be changed while the press is running and a 40-in. unwinds and rewinds are standard features in the press. It also has one-touch electronic control, helical gears and independent temperature controls for each dryer tunnel. Generally, a friendlier press than its predecessors and contemporaries, it can print label and tags on materials from .05 to .36mm thick.

The second LP3000 was installed in the Shore to shore factory in Sri Lanka.
