Core Group Meetings Set Path For The Year 2011 Shows
Within the span of a month, Print-Packaging.Com Pvt. Ltd. organized three core group meetings
While the meetings discussed at length the promotional campaign and conference relating to the PackPlus South 2011, scheduled from 1-4 July at HITEX Hyderabad, the activities for India Converting Show to be held in November at Mumbai and India Packaging Show/ Food Technology Show to be held at New Delhi in December were also dwelt upon.
The first meeting was held on 19 Jan 2011 at India Habitat Centre, New Delhi. It was attended by Dr. H. Bisht & Gautam Biswas, Polyplex Corp. It was decided that a 3 day conference will be held in Delhi along during the December event. The first day will be devoted to Food processing and Packaging, the second day to Automation for Packaging and the last day to general Packaging.
Graphic Arts Technology & Education (GATE) holds an annual conference in November on Packaging Printing at Mumbai. It was decided to explore the possibilities of jointly organizing the conference with an added focus on converting technologies to overlap with India Converting Show 2011.
The subjects to be covered at the PackAge Conference at Hyderabad were brain stormed extensively. The Conference themes that came up regularly during these meetings included waste reduction, sustainability in packaging, medical disposal, benefits of plastics, pharma packaging, infrastructure for packaging, labeling and the growth of packaging raw material industry. Some of the national and international speakers were also suggested by the attendees.
India Packaging Meet was proposed to be held in some of the prominent locations from Southern India. Following the discussions at these meetings, Vishakhapatnam and Vijayawada came up as the final destinations for Road Shows in South, to be held in the month of April.
