SV launched modular conveyer belt at IPS 2008
SV Modular Conveyers (P) Ltd conveyed it emphatically, so to speak. The latest development from the company is a modular conveyer launched at the India Packaging Show, 2008. The construction of the conveyer CS 304 is all aluminum, which maximizes durability of the body of the machine. However, stealing the limelight was the belt which is a combination of polypropylene and nylon. Don’t take it to be a an old school production. It’s a web of independent joints weaved together to make the belt. The advantage here is that unlike the need to replace the flat belt when damaged, this modular belt allows for replacement of these joints individually. Thus minimizing cost of maintenance largely.
