CAPEXIL announces annual export awards
Coates, TNPL, ITC and Kerala Exporters among recepients
Capexil, formerly Chemicals &allied products Export promotion Council, has announced it's prestegious annual expot awards. These awards were presented by Shyam Lal Sen, Governor of West Bengal at the awards ceremony held at Taj Bengal in Calcutta on 28th October.
Coates of India Limited are the market leaders in the field of printing inks in India. Printing Inks and allied products do not have a traditional export market in India. Yet, Coates have steadilt been increasing their exports over the years. It is third year in succession, they have received the Capexil Certificate of merit award.
ITC Packaging & Printing Division is one of the largest packaging houses in South Asia. It converts 30000 tonnes of paper board annually into value added packaging mainly for the tobacco, liquor, foods & beverage industries. Both it's plants in Chinnai as well as in Munger are ISO 2002 certified . In addition the division has acheived a level 5 rating on the IQRS ( International Quality rating system of DKN, Norway scale). The value of exports during 1998-99 was over Rs. 220 million. This has won it the Capexil's special export award.
For the second successive year, Kerala Exporters and Traders have won the certificate of merit from Capexil for its remarkable export performance in the financial year 1998-99. kerala Exporters are primarilly into export of Indian newspapers and magazines.
