Bilt Petitions On Coated Paper In September
Prima facie evidence indicate dumping by exporters
The anti-dumping case filed by Ballarpur Industries Ltd. (Bilt) and Bilt Graphics Ltd. against Indonesia and the European Union (EU) over dumping of coated paper is likely to come up for hearing this month.
According to the Directorate General of Anti-Dumping and Allied Duties (DGAD)`s initial findings, there is sufficient evidence that the normal value of the coated paper in EU and Indonesia is significantly higher than the net export price indicating that the coated paper is being dumped by the exporters. Bilt has also drawn the attention of DGAD towards a significant jump in imports of coated paper from EU and Indonesia. The petition is also supported by BILT Industrial Packaging Ltd. in Coimbatore.
