Sheet-fed and web offset presses from Heidelberg, MAN-Roland, MAN-Plamag, KBA-Planeta, Komori, WIFAG, Goss, Solna, etc. are equipped with technoplast Polyester Underpacking foils in order to compensate the diameter of the cylinder. It can be taken for standard jobbing application as well as for high-speed rotary presses (newspaper printing) and can be placed underneath the printing plate as well as the rubber blanket. 

The underpacking foils consist of a dimensional stable and resistant to swelling polyesterfilm. The selfadhesive version, type H 45, is one sided equipped with a special adhesive coating which prevents the slipping of the underpacking foil during the printing process.

technoplast   Polyester Underpacking Film H 45 - RB 

The technoplast Polyester Underpacking foil H 45-RB is the specific development of the world-wide accepted Polyester Underpacking foil H 45 and considers the special requirements of underpacking materials on rubber blanket cylinder. 

The movement of the rubber blanket on slippery underpacking materials during the printing process is very often a problem for the printer. Taking this effect into account the technoplast Polyester Underpacking foil H 45-RB received a surface-active anti-slip coating. This will prevent a movement of the rubber blanket on the underpacking foil as well as it will prevent a splitting between the two rubber blankets is definitely prevented. This is of great importance with newspaper printing presses with 8 tower or four high construction.
